In response to the ongoing and evolving challenges presented by the COVID-19 emergency, Defy:Disaster established the COVID-19 Response Fund to support those in need.

Funds raised will primarily provide relief to people in the entertainment industry who are most vulnerable to the effects of this economic crisis. Additional funds will support the public health response to the threat posed by this virus including the prevention, detection, and treatment of new cases of COVID-19.

EIF and Defy:Disaster are also partnering with health organizations including the CDC Foundation to provide vital information to help people keep themselves and their families healthy.

Defy:Disaster is raising relief funds primarily for people in the entertainment industry who are most vulnerable.

The best resources for obtaining the most up to date information are the CDC as well as the daily situation reports from the World Health Organization (WHO). Johns Hopkins University maintains updated statistics of COVID-19 cases by U.S. county.
